Now it's easier than ever to send your parcels by Amtrak using our On-Line Despatch System. Using advanced web-based technology the system has been developed to save your despatch staff time and effort.

The system automatically prints Amtrak bar-coded parcel labels and allows customers to track their shipments from booking through to final delivery.

Using the Internet, On-Line Despatch integrates with other Amtrak systems and eliminates the need for Amtrak consignment notes. Working in 'real time', it facilitates the planning of collections and deliveries across the depot network.

On-Line Despatch gives you the facility to use your own reference numbers when looking up details of a consignment - it provides an important link between your order number and the Amtrak consignment number.

An interface is provided to facilitate the import and export of data between On-line Despatch and in-house computer systems thereby minimising data input time and reducing the potential for errors.

Finally, On-Line Despatch will not cost you a penny. It can be used from any Personal Computer attached to the Internet with labels printed on plain paper. For larger customers Amtrak will provide a dedicated thermal printer for label production.

The Amtrak Online Collection Management System allows you to use your own computers to control collections from remote parts of the UK and confirm their safe delivery the next morning.

Operating over the Internet using a secure connection, the collection request is entered online. On completion of the required information fields in the simple, easy to use form, the request is submitted and automatically routed to the Amtrak depot responsible for making the collection.

From the point of submission, to subsequent delivery of the package, progress of the collection can be monitored. Should any problems be encountered, you will be notified immediately allowing corrective action to be taken.

The Amtrak Online Collection Management System can make life much easier for companies that have large numbers of .repair and return. collections or .just in time. deliveries allowing you to take control of when goods are delivered.

The system maintains a database of all collections entered and continuously updates this with information as it becomes available, from collection request through to the proof of delivery. This database can be queried online or downloaded to a spreadsheet.
